The thousands of young people who attended Vans Warped Tour at Merriweather Post Pavilion on Tuesday shed clothes to handle the high temperatures, screamed at bands they loved and danced their way to a good time.
There were mosh pits, crowd surfers and vendors of all kinds. A long list of bands cycled between the countless stages which ranged from the very large main stage, to an acoustic stage where bands would warm up for a smaller crowd.

The Warped Tour is currently in its 18th year and has become America's longest running festival concert tour, according to the Merriweather Post Pavilion website. Each year the tour hosts more than 600,000 people across the country, according to the website.
At the noon start time, crowds stretched around Symphony Woods, almost to the Howard County Central Library parking lot entrance on Little Patuxent Parkway as guests waited to enter the event.
Approximately 18,000 people were expected to attend the event, which lasted most of the day on Tuesday.
