Break-In at Ellicott City Sears: Howard County Crime Roundup

The following information was supplied by the Howard County Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

 

Ellicott City: Commercial Break-In

Between 5 p.m. on Jan. 22 and 7 a.m. on Jan. 23, an unknown number of suspects removed the lock from a storage area at Sears, on the 9200 block of Baltimore National Pike, and stole batteries.

Columbia: Commercial Break-In Attempt

Between Jan. 20 and Jan. 23, an unknown number of suspects attempted to pry open a door of Shalom Square, on the 6200 block of Foreland Garth, but failed to gain entry.

Columbia: Construction Break-In

Between Jan. 20 and Jan. 23, an unknown number of suspects pried open the door of a Zink Contracting Company building, on the 5700 block of Oakland Mills Road. Police said nothing was reported stolen.

Elkridge: Vehicle Theft

Shortly after 4 p.m. on Jan. 23, a tow truck and another vehicle were stolen from the 7200 block of Washington Boulevard.
