Detectives are now saying Parker, 53, of no permanent address, and Wise were seen by witnesses getting into an altercation in that area, where a group was hanging around a parked silver van.

Several members of the group, including Parker, then drove off in the van, which investigators found today on Columbia Road with blood stains on the fender. The owner of the van was not charged with a crime.
