The Howard County Arts Council is seeking volunteers to assist at the 15^th annual Celebration of the Arts gala on March 24, 2012 at Peter and Elizabeth Horowitz Visual and Performing Arts Center, Howard Community College, Columbia.  Volunteers are needed for various opportunities including Reception, Raffle Ticket Sales, Performance, Membership, Silent Auction, General Set-up, etc.  This is a great opportunity to get involved and support one of Howard County’s premier art events while having fun at the same time!

The Celebration is a multi-faceted signature event, showcasing and promoting the arts while raising funds in support of the arts, artists and arts organizations in Howard County. This gala evening features a reception from 6-8 p.m. with a silent auction, food from area restaurants and caterers, and musical performances. At 8 p.m., the show begins inside the Smith Theatre and on view in the Studio Theatre with the presentation of the Howie Awards and the Rising Star Competition!
