Howard Bank's Scully Honored as 'Trailblazer'
Mary Ann Scully, President & CEO of Howard Bank, was presented a 2012 Trailblazer Award by The Center Club’s Women in Business Intraclub at the “We’ve Come a Long Way Baby” event in celebration of the club’s 50th Anniversary.
According to organizers, the purpose of honoring Scully was “inspiring other women in business with the example of your achievements and efforts.” Honorees shared anecdotes, experiences and perspective with the attendees in a dialogue about how far women have come in the past 50 years.
Scully is the Chair of the Maryland Bankers Association (MBA) and the immediate past Chair of the Columbia Foundation, Howard County's community foundation. She is a trustee of Howard County General Hospital and a trustee of Catholic Charities, and she sits on the President’s Advisory Council of the Maryland Chamber of Commerce.
