Pink Plate specials blossom on restaurants’ menus
for April Cherrybration Days
HOWARD COUNTY, MD –Blossoms of Hope, a marketing initiative of Howard County Tourism & Promotion, announces the return of the popular culinary promotion, PINK PLATE specials. Beginning April 1st, thirteen “Community Conscious” restaurants will be working with Blossoms of Hope, to support the Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource Center at Howard County General Hospital during the blossoming season of Howard County’s 1,600 pink kwanzan cherry trees.
Now in its fifth year, the PINK PLATE promotion invites local chefs and restaurateurs to “think pink” by adding pink themed specials to their menus or hosting special pink promotions to help raise cancer awareness and support the Claudia Mayer Cancer Resource Center.
